The mission of the Alberta Reappraising AIDS Society is to promote critical discussion of the HIV=AIDS=Death dogma by making basic science available and by publishing the writings of other critics of the theory for a wide audience. The society is always interested in hearing from people who would like to help through volunteering their time, offering their writing or research skills or who wish to donate money to support and expand the work of the society.

David Rasnick has collated statistics on US AIDS funding from 1982 through 2010 (estimated). In total $287 billion will have been wasted in pursuit of chasing a phantom and poisoning the phantom's victims by the end of this year.
  • February 7, 2010–The Parenzee Case. Once more, from the top…
Kyle Shields is the Australian who first introduced Andre Parenzee's lawyer Kevin Borick to questions about HIV and AIDS. His statement, following an introduction by Celia Farber, describes how David Crowe was involved in the case from the very beginning and never, in his opinion, interfered. He also describes how the Perth Group threatened to pull out of the case if any other expert witnesses were called, even scientists like Etienne de Harven who is fully in agreement with them on the non-existence of HIV.
  • February 6, 2010–Tainted Cocaine Produces Immune Suppression
In Winnipeg cocaine mixed with a veterinary drug has produced neutropenia in two people, a deficiency of the neutrophil blood cells, often seen in people with AIDS. In fact, if these people were HIV-positive, they might have called it AIDS. Since illegal drugs are produced in secret, unmonitored factors, with no quality control, such problems with drug contamination are common. Even if cocaine and heroin were harmless, street versions might still be deadly.

  • January 28, 2010–Elsevier Wants to Make "Medical Hypotheses" Peer Reviewed
This journal is the only one that Elsevier publishes that is not peer-reviewed. Most people don't understand how corrupt and stultifying peer-review can be. There's no problem with some journals being peer-reviewed, it works well in non-controversial areas. But to do this to all journals would be to eliminate the creative and innovative edge of science.
  • January 26, 2010–From the Archives: Andrew Herxheimer
This pharmacologist, being interviewed by Joan Shenton, stated, "…Zidovudine [AZT] was a drug that was never really evaluated properly…It's efficacy has never been provedbut its toxicity certainly is important…it has killed a lot of people, especially at the higher doses [1500 mg/day in the late 1980s]. I personally think it is not worth using alone or in combination [it is still used in combinations such has Combivir, and when not used other drugs in nucleoside analog class almost always are]."
  • January 26, 2010–How Many is Too Many
Liam Scheff asks how many children have to die in AIDS drug experiments before it is too many for John Moore, Jeannie Bergman, Seth Kalichman and the other AIDS Dogmatism Enforcers.
  • January 26, 2010–Perth Group Challenge Montagnier

Djamel Tahi asks Montagnier to come clean in light of new footage of the Nobel Laureate released by Brent Leung. Tahi interviewed Montagnier and got similar statements from him in the 1990s. What does Montagnier really believe?
  • January 15, 2010–The Future of Medical Hypotheses
This Elsevier journal, which is proudly NOT peer-reviewed, was forced to withdraw two papers, one by lead auther Peter Duesberg and the other by lead author Marco Ruggiero, under pressure from "AIDS Truth" and allies. This article in the Times Higher Education Supplement gives a good summary but, more importantly, has allowed the most incredible debate, in which Seth Kalichman and John Moore are getting seriously beaten up, correctly accused of McCarthyism and other sins.

  • January 15, 2010–AZT is a Carcinogen according to California
It's about 30 years too late, but the state of California has recognized AZT as a carcinogen. Remember that AZT was approved as the first AIDS drug at massive doses of 1500 mg/day in 1987 and was the only drug available until 1991. Many people believe that it is no longer used, but there are actually combination pills (such as Combivir) that include AZT as one component. And even when AZT isn't being used one or two other nucleoside analogs are used instead. If the nucleoside analog AZT causes cancer it's quite likely that others do also (it is hard to say with certainty because AZT was the only AIDS drug used extensively by itself).

  • January 10, 2010–Dr. Charles Geshekter reviews "House of Numbers"
"With his first film, House of Numbers, Brent Leung has produced a profound documentary. It’s a case study about how scientific knowledge can be created, then harden into a rigid dogma, defended with religious zeal by its creators who stubbornly refuse to debate anyone who disputes their claims but who labor overtime to prevent critical opinions from being heard…"
  • January 10, 2010–I really, really don't care what causes AIDS
Carl Strygg, writing on Celia Farber's website, "The Truth Barrier"…"One thing is absolutely clear to me: I have never met even one HIV positive person who felt healthy whose quality of life was improved by HIV drugs. What benefit there may be is certainly limited to those very near death, in my experience…"

  • January 8, 2010–AZT: Good for What Ails You
AZT. We all know how much good that did for AIDS. Now it's considered malpractice to give AZT alone in large quantities for AIDS. But, according to this article, AZT is going to be great to kill XMRV, the virus that causes (?) Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Anything that causes severe or fatal anemia just has to be good for chronic fatigue. Take AZT and you'll never be tired again!
  • January 8, 2010–AIDS Experts Deny HIV Test Validity…On Camera
Raw footage from "House of Numbers" of Dr. Niel Constantine saying (after Brent Leung indicates that he tested HIV negative in Africa), "Now what if I tell you that the test you took was lousy and doesn't mean a thing, does that make any difference for everybody to hear?" and top UK HIV virologist Robin Weiss saying, "I don't think the Western Blot is a useful diagnostic test, I don't think it's worth doing…You don't need a western blot and it's become a dogma in HIV research that you need one ELISA followed by a Western [blot]. You don't!…Western Blots have been sort of promoted into some sort of holy grail."
There have been some efforts by Constantine and Weiss to claim that their statements were taken out of context. Constantine has claimed that he was talking about HIV tests made in garages. It is true that he and Brent Leung discussed this but the discussion on camera is clearly related to Brent's HIV test which was a commercial test produced under circumstances that are normal in Africa. Weiss claimed that he was being pressed by Leung, but the video shows that he was very relaxed. He has also claimed that he was referring to the status of Western Blot testing in the 1980s but that is clearly not the context of the question and Weiss uses the present tense,
  • January 8, 2010–Write a "House of Numbers" Review
If you have watched the documentary "House of Numbers" then you should write an IMDB review. This does require a registration, but it's free. There is a concerted effort (by you-know-who) to give this film a low rating.
  • January 8, 2010–Lancet Authors Indicate that Antiretroviral Therapy Kills Quickly
This article is full of spin, but here are the revealing nuggets, "Out of nearly 200,000 patients initiated on ART in Malawi by the end of 2008, 12 % were known to have died and a further 12% were 'lost to follow up' [which usually means they died]…nearly two-thirds of the deaths occurred within three months after starting ART"
  • January 4, 2010–The Year in Review by Connie Howard

  • December 23, 2009–HIV+ Court Case Victory in Florida
"…Eneydi Torres, 42…faced up to fifteen years in prison this year for allegedly exposing four men to HIV…[but] attorney Baron Coleman require[d] prosecutors to connect the double- and triple-hearsay reports of HIV positivity to the defendant years before the alleged crimes, but he also planned to call the scientifically-confused cast members from House of Numbers to explain themselves under oath. For example…Nancy Padian…John P. Moore…Robert Gallo…Once they realized that they had no case, prosecutors reduced their initial offer of fifteen years in state prison to what amounted to five days of unsupervised probation. Although prepared for an acquittal, Ms. Torres agreed to pay a small fine and attended a short class that featured an hour of HIV propaganda…"

He goes on to say that Christine was "was treated with antibiotics (Gentamicin, Rocephin, Azithromycin), Acyclovir, Fluconazole and corticosteroids. She also received Meyer’s cocktail, vitamin C, and calcium IV." One of the antibiotics was gentamicin. Her dose of 600 mg/day for 9 days, "is documented in the medical literature to cause tubular necrosis in individuals treated with similar doses"

The autopsy was conducted by Dr. David Posey early in 2009. He received his medical degree in 1974 and, since then, has held a variety of posts in Pathology and Forensic Medicine, conducted over 3,000 autopsies, given expert testimony in 50 trials and over 70 depositions. • December 8, 2009–"Mamma, Don't Take my Funding Away"
Daniel Kuritzkes, one of the stars of "House of Numbers", argues that it is more important to give toxic poisons to children, and to stop their mothers breastfeeding them, than to stop childhood diarrhea and pneumonia. Ironically, one of the easiest ways to reduce both diseases would be to encourage all mothers, regardless of their HIV status, to breastfeed.

  • December 5, 2009–Making Beer with ARVs
We honestly don't make this stuff up. In South Africa there have been reports of people getting high by smoking ARVs but in Malawi they've discovered that they can improve the production of a local liquor known as 'kachasu' and as a supplement to make livestock grow faster. No word on whether the cattle are growing buffalo humps or whether drug-induced anemia is making beef the new "white meat". Our inquiries have not yet determined whether bonking while smashed on kachasu is 'safe sex'.

  • December 4, 2009–Perth Group Respond to Jeanne Bergman
We agree with Bergman that scientific answers must be based on “evidence-based science”. In science there are no fake questions – only fake answers. Bergman’s “answers” to the questions raised in House of Numbers consist of proclamations without one iota of “evidence-based science” to back her up. Hence, by her own definition, her answers are fake…
